Net & Laces
Tessuti supplies net and lace fabric wholesale: dyed lace, embroidered net, 3D net and mesh. Net is open and sheer while lace adds fine surface detail.
About net & lace fabric
Net is an open mesh fabric, while lace has fine decorative patterns, usually with a scalloped edge. Both are sheer and are used as overlays or accents. This range includes dyed lace, embroidered net, 3D net and mesh.
How to choose
Check the hole size, stretch and edge finish. Stiff nets give volume to skirts, while soft nets and lace drape better over the body.
Range, uses and pricing
The range has 90+ designs. Prices start from ₹150 per metre. Designers use them for gowns, lehenga dupattas, bridal veils, overlays, lingerie and trims. Fabrics are sold by the metre, and most are 150 cm wide.
Care and sewing tips
Sheer fabrics are best hand-washed or machine-washed in a mesh bag on a gentle cycle, then dried flat. Press with a cool iron on the reverse, and use fine needles and a small stitch length when sewing.
