About corduroy fabric
Corduroy is a durable fabric with parallel raised ribs, called wales, formed from cut pile. It is warm, textured and hard-wearing. This range includes plain and printed cotton corduroy.
How to choose
Check the wale width: fine wales feel dressier, while thick wales look casual. Cut all pieces with the pile running in the same direction.
Range, uses and pricing
The range has 20+ designs. Prices start from ₹350 per metre. It is used for jackets, trousers, skirts, pinafores, kidswear and cushion covers. Fabrics are sold by the metre, and most are 150 cm wide.
Care and sewing tips
Velvet should be steamed rather than pressed, and the pile should never be ironed flat. Dry-cleaning is the safest option for most velvets. Cut all pieces in the same pile direction.
