About dobby fabric

Dobby fabrics have small woven geometric patterns, such as dots, diamonds and checks, made with a dobby loom attachment. The texture is in the weave, so it does not wash out. This range includes cotton, silk organza and wool dobby.

How to choose

Choose by fibre and weight: cotton dobby for shirts and kurtas, wool dobby for tailored pieces, silk organza dobby for dressy wear.

Range, uses and pricing

The range has 30+ designs. Prices start from ₹150 per metre. Dobby is popular for shirts, kurtas, dresses, blazers and co-ord sets. Fabrics are sold by the metre, and most are 150 cm wide.

Check the care guidance on each product page, as it varies by fibre and finish. Test a small swatch before washing a full garment, and pre-wash if you plan to wash the finished piece.
