Checks combine horizontal and vertical lines, woven or printed, from small gingham to large plaids. This range includes cotton, wool and knitted checks.
How to choose
Match the check at seams, and decide whether it should run on-grain or on the bias.
Range, uses and pricing
The range has 200+ designs. Prices start from ₹150 per metre. Common uses include shirts, skirts, uniforms, jackets and co-ords. Fabrics are sold by the metre, and most are 150 cm wide.
Care and sewing tips
Printed fabrics should be washed separately in cool water for the first few washes, and ironed on the reverse. Test colour fastness on a small piece before a large production run.
