Sofa / Upholstery

Upholstery fabrics must be strong and abrasion-resistant, such as heavier tweeds, jacquards and velvets.

Common uses include sofas, chairs, cushions and headboards.

Check weight and abrasion suitability. Ask us about rub counts.

Heavier fabrics are usually best dry-cleaned or spot-cleaned. Steam instead of pressing hard, use a sturdy needle, and allow extra seam allowance for bulk.

Look for heavier weight and tight weaves, and check the intended use, from dining chairs to sofas. See our curtain fabric collection.

Fabric is sold by the metre: choose your length on the product page. Most fabrics are 150 cm wide; the width and weight are listed on each product page.
