Athleisure Fabric

Athleisure fabrics combine stretch, comfort and a smooth finish for activewear and loungewear. This collection includes stretch satin, velour and knits.

Common uses include leggings, track sets, tops, dancewear and co-ords.

Check stretch, recovery and weight. Four-way stretch is best for fitted sportswear.

Knits stretch with wear, so cut with the stretch running across the body and use a ballpoint needle and stretch stitch. Wash on a gentle cycle and dry flat to keep the shape.

Stretch knits with good recovery, such as nylon or polyester blends with lycra, are standard for activewear. See our nylon collection.

Fabric is sold by the metre: choose your length on the product page. Prices start from ₹100 per metre. Most fabrics are 150 cm wide; the width and weight are listed on each product page.
